Tom and Lindsay planned an incredibly beautiful elopement in the petite forest chapel at Whispering Springs. They were actually originally supposed to get married in St.John’s, Newfoundland. But given the travel restrictions for out-of-province travellers in the summer of 2020 they were forced to cancel.
Since they didn’t want to push their wedding to the next year, they started looking for places to elope in Ontario. They stumbled on Whispering Springs and immediately fell in love. The relaxed vibe reminded them of what their wedding would have been like in Newfoundland. Drawn to Whispering Springs’ intimate forest chapel setting, they knew it was the perfect place for their elopement.
It may have been different from the wedding they had planned, but it was perfect in every way. They exchanged rings under a canopy of trees, sipped champagne at the chalet, and explored the property with us for photos. While they couldn’t have all their family and friends at the wedding, they were able to gather their immediate family members to be there which was incredibly special.
